The Mission:
Inspiring people throughout the region to help rid their communities of litter and bringing people together to help make a difference and give back to their community.
How The Idea Started:
For the past four years Bryan Ostrander has been involved with Project Green Sweep, a group of local volunteers who are dedicated to keeping down town Beaver litter free. As an Eagle Scout Bryan took part in many community service projects, and also restored a local picnic area and made three park benches that overlook Brady's Run Lake in Beaver, PA for his Eagle Scout project in 2005.
As a student at Pittsburgh Technical Institute and no longer living in Beaver County Bryan came to realize it was time to start making a difference in a bigger way. Thus forming an inspirational idea called Green Community Impact, to help reduce litter among the region and bring people together at the same time.
